Final Oral Presentation

Final presentation (10%) Option 1: Conference-style presentation on research

The main purpose is to practice a conference presentation in about 10-12 minutes (no more than 15), supporting the implicit claim that your research is important to your field. Remember that you are speaking to a non-specialist audience, so adjust your talk accordingly (more introduction, less technical details).

A commenter will be assigned to make at least one comment and ask one question.

Final presentation (10%) Option 2: What was learned from class

The main purpose is to demonstrate that you learned something in this class in about 8-10 minutes (no more than 12), supporting the implicit claim that you learned something important from this class. Do not tell us what we already know, but how you took the information in the book and built on it yourself.
