本課程主要介紹春秋、戰國時期知名的歷史人物，透過《史記》、《左傳》、《國語》、《戰國策》四本史書中對於人物事蹟的記載，作為評價的基礎。同時，補充小說、出土文物等類型的材料，用以比較傳統史書與文學創作上的差別。讓學生了解閱讀的角度、敘述的方式不同導致的差異。課程中透過齊、燕、晉、楚、秦五國，知名人物的事蹟，從國別、時代、身分的不同人物間，去觀看每個人的人生中順、逆境，行為處事、性格好惡。藉以讓學生思考後世評價對於在那個時代的「歷史人物（那個人）」是否是正確的？

This course introduces prominent historical figures from the "Spring and Autumn" and " Warring States" periods. It uses accounts from four major historical texts：Records of the Grand Historian (Shiji史記), Zuo Tradition (Zuo Zhuan左傳), Discourses of the States (Guoyu國語), and Strategies of the Warring States (Zhan Guo Ce戰國策) as the basis for evaluating these individuals. In addition, supplementary materials such as historical novels and excavated artifacts are incorporated to highlight the differences between traditional historiography and literary representations. This allows students to understand how varying perspectives and narrative approaches can lead to different interpretations. The course focuses on the major states of Qi(齊), Yan(燕), Jin(晉), Chu(楚), and Qin(秦), examining the life stories of prominent figures from each. By comparing individuals from different states, time periods, and social roles, students will explore how these figures faced favorable and adverse circumstances, made decisions, and revealed their personalities and preferences. Through this, students are encouraged to reflect on whether later generations' evaluations of these "historical figures" accurately reflect who they truly were in their own time.
