課程單課目標與範圍:
《莊子》作為一部中國重要的經典，對中華文化的影響深刻且龐博。
莊子思想一直以資糧的方式，呈現在先秦以降文人的作品裡、歷代詮釋者的注疏中，也活進了華人的生活裡，成為中華文化不可切割的一部分。《莊子》可以是種哲思學問，藏著眾多令無數學人著迷的義理思想；《莊子》更是一種生命的態度，多元的反思性，引領閱讀者如何更好的「活在當下」。本課程的文本選讀以內七篇為主，並兼及外雜篇的相關段落，透過導讀《莊子》文本引領學生認識《莊子》的思想內涵。
本課程期望能透過對《莊子》文本的深入閱讀，以期同學能在學習的過程裡，認識《莊子》反思的力量，能在現代人因過度游離在現實與虛幻之間，所造成自我與自我及他人疏離的現代，《莊子》思想能成為學生從今而後生命裡承載託付的力量。

　　The Zhuangzi, as one of the most significant classics within the traditions of people who share the Chinese language, has profoundly and extensively influenced their culture. The philosophy of Zhuangzi has continually served as a source of nourishment, reflected in the works of literati since the pre-Qin era, the commentaries and annotations of interpreters throughout history, and even in the daily lives of individuals, becoming an inseparable part of their cultural heritage.
　　The Zhuangzi can be seen as a philosophical discipline, with its profound and enigmatic text containing numerous ideological concepts that have fascinated countless scholars. Moreover, the Zhuangzi embodies a life attitude, offering a diverse and reflective perspective that guides readers on how to "live in the present" more meaningfully.
　　This course will primarily focus on selected readings from the Inner Chapters, supplemented by relevant passages from the Outer and Miscellaneous Chapters. Through guided reading of the Zhuangzi text, students will be introduced to the core ideas and philosophies within the work.
　　The course aims to facilitate a deep reading of the Zhuangzi text, enabling students to appreciate its reflective power. In a modern world where people often drift excessively between reality and illusion, leading to alienation from themselves and others, the philosophy of Zhuangzi is envisioned to become a sustaining and entrusted force in the lives of students moving forward.
