The course will firstly introduce the basic concepts of cultural creativity and intellectual property rights, and the relationship between them. The course, after that, will bring in and discuss the principles and issues in different fields of cultural and creativity industries. The course will also make studies on several influential issues of the intellectual property law in recent years, including issues on mass digitization, orphan works, industrial design and patent, trademark and branding, trademark squatting, trade secrets, management and exploitation of intellectual property rights … etc.

本課程優先介紹文化創意與智慧財產之背景與關係，其後藉由實際案例突顯並且探討文化創意產業不同領域所涉及之智慧財產權原理與議題，並且針對近期重要智慧財產權爭議，包含巨量數位化、孤兒著作、工業設計與專利、商標與品牌、商標搶註、營業秘密、智慧財產管理與利用等問題分別為專題之介紹與討論。
