Students develop analytical tools for evaluating investment opportunities, estimating the cost of capital, valuing financial assets and firms, and understanding how financing and payout policies affect firm value. The course also examines decision-making under uncertainty, market efficiency and behavioral challenges, and financial diagnosis using real-world business cases and academic research. Emphasis is placed on integrating financial theory with practical managerial decision-making.
