This is an EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) course aiming to enhance students’ listening and speaking abilities of sports English. Based on textbooks and online resources, the course introduces basic sports vocabulary and trains students’ listening and oral expression in English. Students are also grouped according to their specialties, and each group is required to give an oral presentation in English to train their speaking ability, including the basic terminology, regulations and related videos on their specialty.
本課程採全英語授課，目的在提升學生的運動英語聽講能力。除透過教科書與網路資源介紹一般運動英語詞彙並訓練學生聽力與口語表達，另依修課學生專長分組，各組蒐集專長領域的基本術語、規則介紹與影音資料，並以英語提出口頭報告，藉以提升學生英語表達能力。
