This course aims to develop students' integrated listening and speaking skills through authentic materials from National Geographic and TED talks. By engaging with real people, real places, and real language, students will explore important global issues across social, cultural, and academic contexts. The course emphasizes the use of effective strategies for academic speaking tasks and real-world communication, while helping students consolidate academic vocabulary through structured speaking activities. Through thematic content connected to students' lives, learners are encouraged to think critically, express ideas clearly, and participate actively in meaningful discussions.

本課程以 National Geographic 與 TED 所提供的真實語料為核心，透過真實人物、真實場域與真實語言，引導學生認識當今世界的重要議題，並培養其英語聽說整合能力。課程內容涵蓋多元社會、文化與學術情境，著重於提升學生在學術口語任務與真實生活溝通中所需的表達策略，同時透過口說活動強化學術字彙的運用。此外，課程結合主題式學習與學生自身經驗，鼓勵學生進行思辨與批判思考，並能清楚表達觀點，積極參與討論。
