本課程旨在帶領學生探索基礎史學寫作與大眾史學創作的交涉可能。課程主題分成「文字的表達」、「圖像與實體物件的呈現」、「影像的轉化」三大部分。期中考前為第一部分：「文字的表達」，希望透過層層遞進的寫作練習，讓同學更加熟稔史學方法與基礎敘事的密切關係。期中考後為「圖像與實體物件的呈現」與「影像的轉化」，將藉由大眾史學書寫、紀錄片、博物館參訪活動、電影、Podcast等多元媒介，引導同學認識歷史學的特性及其在現代社會的用途。
This course aims to guide students in exploring the intersections between academic historical writing and public history production. The curriculum is organized into three major units: "Textual Expression," "Representation through Images and Material Objects," and "Transformation into Visual Media."

The first unit, Textual Expression, runs through the first half of the semester and focuses on a series of progressively structured writing exercises. These are designed to help students develop a deeper understanding of the close relationship between historical methods and the foundations of narrative construction.

In the second half of the semester, the course turns to Representation through Images and Material Objects and Transformation into Visual Media. Through engagement with diverse mediums—including popular historical writing, documentary films, museum visits, historical cinema, and podcasts—students will be encouraged to reflect on the nature of historical knowledge and its various applications in contemporary society.
