中正大學課程大綱
English Composition (III)英文作文(三)
一、課程概述
Write to Think is a year-long, inquiry-based academic writing course for sophomore English majors. Students develop research-based writing and presentations through reading, collaboration, feedback, revision, and guided use of AI tools. This course treats writing as a collaborative, inquiry-based process. Students connect research and reading with prior or concurrent learning, develop questions, and explore contributing factors or possible solutions to significant issues. Each assignment is completed through smaller tasks. Students learn through discussion, peer feedback, individual consultation, workshops, and whole-class sessions. They revise extensively, practice different text types, and integrate writing, reading, speaking, and listening to strengthen academic literacy. Other than one textbook, we’ll also resource all the authentic materials and turn them into learning modules. Students produce multiple drafts, essays, and visual-verbal presentations, with entry, midpoint, and exit assessments used to monitor progress. Guided AI use is limited to brainstorming, outlining, and language support. Plagiarism, unauthorized AI-generated work, and misrepresentation of authorship violate academic integrity.
