This course introduces students to the principles and practices of writing descriptive, narrative, and reading-based essays. It is designed to help freshmen strengthen their English writing skills while learning the full writing process: prewriting, planning, drafting, revising, editing, and peer review. In addition, students will develop effective reading strategies to support college-level writing through group discussions, presentations, and individual consultations.
