This course introduces students to the basics of academic paragraph writing, including the topic sentence, the supporting details, and the concluding sentence. Students will learn how to write four types of paragraphs: narrative, process, compare/contrast, and opinion. In addition to writing, students will also be trained in reading and text analysis.
