讓學生瞭解資訊安全所面對的問題，再瞭解存取控制、安全模型、密碼學。並利用Unix/Linux主機來介紹實務上的防禦系統，使用OpenVAS進行真實主機弱點掃描，使用WebGoat演練駭客攻擊手法，最後從管理的角度來瞭解資訊安全的管理基礎和策略發展，並能進一步對國際資安管理趨勢有所認知。
This course aims to equip students with a foundational understanding of the challenges in information security. It introduces core topics such as access control, security models, and cryptography. Practical aspects of defensive systems are explored through hands-on experience with Unix/Linux platforms. Students will use OpenVAS to perform real-world vulnerability scanning and WebGoat to simulate hacker attack techniques. The course concludes with a managerial perspective on the fundamentals of information security management and strategy development, providing insights into global trends in cybersecurity governance.
