This course will be structured around different artistic forms to provide an in-depth introduction to the expressive methods and creative concepts of contemporary art. It aims to break the conventional stereotype that art is limited to depicting beautiful subjects or showcasing refined techniques.

Artists and representative works from the following six categories of contemporary art will be introduced and analyzed, with a focus on uncovering the underlying meanings behind the works:
