This course, Bioethics, aims to explore ethical and moral issues related to life and death. Key topics include the death penalty, euthanasia, physician-assisted suicide, palliative care, patient autonomy, abortion, artificial reproduction, surrogacy, organ donation, human cloning, genetic modification, animal rights, famine, and refugee crises.

By the end of this course, students are expected to have gained a deeper understanding of bioethical issues and to be able to apply the knowledge they have acquired to their own fields of expertise as well as to discussions on public issues.
