本課程旨在培養學生於專業相關情境中之學術英語「理解性」與「表達性」能力。課程重點在於協助學生掌握並恰當運用專業術語於口語與書面溝通中。學生將學習辨識、組織與統整專業文本及聽力材料中的主旨與支持性細節。此外，本課程亦著重透過案例研討討論、摘要寫作等活動，強化學生之專業溝通能力。同時，課程亦致力於提升學生的數位素養，鼓勵其以負責任的態度與同儕及人工智慧進行線上協作，並培養具倫理性的內容創作能力，進而在學術與專業脈絡中有效理解、說明與描述各類資訊。
This course is designed to cultivate students’ receptive and productive academic English competencies within profession-related contexts. It emphasizes the comprehension and appropriate use of professional terminology in both oral and written communication. Students will develop the ability to identify, organize, and summarize main and supporting ideas from profession-related texts and listening materials. Furthermore, the course focuses on enhancing professional communication skills through activities such as participating in case-study discussions and engaging in summary writing. In addition, it aims to strengthen students’ digital literacy by promoting responsible online collaboration with peers and artificial intelligence, fostering ethical content creation, and developing the capacity to understand, explain and describe information effectively in academic and professional settings.
