金融法是規範金融市場之法律，並無一部法律稱為金融法，而是由不同的法律被合稱為金融法，例如：銀行法、金融控股公司法、金融消費者保護法等等。本學期課程將以洗錢防制法、金融消費者保護法及虛擬資產服務法為主要討論範圍。課程前半段將指定論文由修課同學事先閱讀，並於課堂中討論。課程後半段則由修課同學選定金融法相關主題，於課堂中報告。
Financial law is the body of law that regulates financial markets. There is no single statute called "Financial Law"; rather, it is a collective term for various distinct laws, such as the Banking Act, the Financial Holding Company Act, and the Financial Consumer Protection Act, among others. This semester, the course will primarily focus on the Anti-Money Laundering Act, the Financial Consumer Protection Act, and the Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) Act. During the first half of the semester, students will be required to read assigned papers in advance for in-class discussions. In the second half of the semester, students will select a financial law-related topic of their choice to present in class.
