保險法包括：保險契約法與保險業法，本課程側重前者，解析保險契約之當事人、義務、保險利益等概念，並探討複保險、再保險。再分就財產保險與人身保險討論。本課程探討保險法之學理外，再以我國司法判決中之重要保險法案例，探討理論如何運用於實務。
Insurance law includes insurance contract law and the regulations of insurance industry. This course focuses on the former. This course covers the following subjects: the obligations and rights of the parties of insurance contracts, insurable interest, double insurance, and reinsurance. It also discusses several kind of insurance contracts, including property insurance and insurance of the person. This course discusses the theory of insurance law and how courts apply insurance law into cases.
