This course introduces the fundamental concepts, methods, and applications of statistics, with particular emphasis on their use in finance and business decision-making. Students will learn how to collect, organize, summarize, analyze, and interpret quantitative data. The course covers descriptive statistics, probability, random variables and probability distributions, sampling distributions, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, and nonparametric statistical methods.
