Through this course, students will have a basic understanding of the imaging principles and applications of mainstream medical imaging systems, as well as the formats of medical images and the interpretation and analysis methods of image data. The course then uses ultrasound imaging, thermal imagers, nail-fold microscopes, polarization cameras, ultraviolet cameras, and other equipment as examples to introduce clinical applications and related image processing techniques, and guides students to actually operate and implement image processing algorithms.
