Advanced Forensic Material Identification材料鑑識特論
一、課程概述
Advanced Forensic Material Identification is the application of various scientific methods and principles to investigate criminal and civil actions which are of interest to the legal systems. Advanced Forensic Material Identification refers more specifically to the scientific collection and analysis of physical evidence in criminal cases such as murder, theft, or fraud. Forensic scientists examine objects, substances (including blood or drug samples), chemicals (paints, explosives), tissue traces (hair, skin), or impressions (fingerprints or tidemarks) left at the crime scene. All the clues collected from a crime scene are analyzed by forensic scientists in a crime laboratory and are converted into evidences worth producing in legal courts.
In the course, we provide overview of various Advanced Forensic Material Identification and their relation to presentation of evidence and problems of law. Study the course is ideal if you are studying Chemistry A-level, have an interest in forensic science and want to apply your knowledge of chemical analysis to forensic investigation.
