Students will gain a solid understanding of the essential theories and techniques employed in video processing.
Additionally, the course explores video coding for machine applications, emphasizing the encoding of video for specific machine tasks. This can be achieved through traditional methods or machine learning-based solutions. Students will gain insights into hybrid solutions that combine conventional codecs with neural network backbones.
