一、課程概述
# 跨領域合作專題研究(二)
本課程為工學院高年級同學(大三、大四),具理工基礎知識與各系所(電機、通訊、資工、機械、化工)之基礎實驗訓練,擴大培養STEM基礎技能之養成,包含嵌入式系統應用、人工智慧與深度學習、巨量資料計算與分析、物聯網與電腦網路通訊、機器人通訊與應用、虛擬實境與混合實境、跨平台應用程式開發與設計…等,透過參與各式主題的訓練課程,來深化在STEM領域的學經歷,透過完成主題式專題研究任務,達成新創技術發展及產品研發。

本課程修課方式採多元方式進行,學生需由3~4人組成小組團隊,小組團隊透過設定專題製作目標,經由任務拆解來逐項完成專題任務,專題指導方式包含與指導教授群進行專題討論、在專題小組進行互動交流、參與主題式技能強化訓練課程、參與主題式產業精進課程…等,用以強化完成專題製作及主題研究,並於學期末參與專題成果發表。專題製作可選感興趣之研究主題,或自由發揮,熱門研究議題列舉參考:(1) 人工智慧、(2) 物聯網、(3) 巨量資料、(4) 多媒體系統設計、(5) 虛擬實境應用、(6)區塊鏈技術應用。

# Interdisciplinary Research Project (II)
This course is designed for senior students (third- and fourth-year) in the College of Engineering who possess foundational knowledge in science and engineering and basic experimental training from various departments, such as Electrical Engineering, Communications, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering. The course aims to further cultivate STEM foundational skills, encompassing areas such as embedded systems applications, artificial intelligence and deep learning, big data computation and analysis, IoT and computer network communications, robotics communications and applications, virtual and mixed reality, cross-platform application development and design, among others. Through participation in thematic training sessions, students can deepen their academic and practical experience in STEM fields while achieving innovative technology development and product R&D by completing project-based research tasks.

The course adopts a diversified approach. Students form teams of 3-4 members to set project objectives and progressively complete project tasks through task decomposition. Project guidance includes discussions with supervising professors, interactive exchanges within project teams, participation in thematic skill enhancement workshops, and industry-specific training sessions. These activities aim to strengthen students’ ability to complete project implementation and research. At the end of the semester, students will present their project outcomes. Projects can be based on topics of interest or freely explored areas. Popular research topics include: (1)Artificial Intelligence, (2)Internet of Things (IoT), (3)Big Data, (4)Multimedia System Design, (5)Virtual Reality Applications, (6)Blockchain
