This course provides practical training in research methods and academic writing in education. It combines short lectures with workshop-style activities. Students develop and refine their individual research ideas within a supportive community of practice, and gradually develop these into a full research proposal for their capstone thesis. The course aims to strengthen students’ academic literacy, critical engagement with research, and confidence in disciplinary writing. It also introduces ways of using AI tools appropriately and ethically to support academic research and writing.
