Bioanalytical Chemistry (I)生物分析化學(一)
一、課程概述
學習 (1) 生物分子的結構,包括蛋白質、核酸、脂質、碳水化合物和代謝物,(2) 各種質譜技術,以及 (3) 著重現代質譜技術分析生物分子
Goal: Learning (1) the structures of biomolecules, including protein, nucleic acids, lipids, carbohydrates, and metabolites, (2) various mass spectrometry techniques, and (3) analysis of biomolecules by traditional and modern technologies with a focus on mass spectrometry

Biochemistry of Amino Acids, Polypeptides, and Proteins. (Textbook 1) (Quiz 1)
Biochemistry of Nucleic Acids. (Textbook 1)
Biochemistry of Carbohydrates (Textbook 1)
Biochemistry of Lipids (Textbook 1)
Chromatography (Chapter 2, Textbook 2)
Principle of Mass Spectrometry (Chapter 4, Textbook 2 & Chapter 17, Textbook 3)
Proteomics (by the lecturer)
Application of Mass Spectrometry in Analysis of Biomolecules (by the lecturer)
Drug Metabolism (Chapter 7. Textbook 4) and Metabolomics (by the lecturer)
Grade: Quizz: 5%; Exam: 50 %; Report: 35%; Class Participation: 10%.
