Introduction to Bifurcation Theory分歧理論簡介
一、課程概述
Purpose and content:
This is a continuous course after the Ordinary Differential Equations with undergraduate level. In this course we study basic concepts and techniques of bifurcation theory for ordinary differential equations. These include some introduction with famous models, stability concepts and phase plane analysis, bifurcation of fixed points of vector fields: Saddle-Node Bifurcation、Transcritical Bifurcation、Pitchfork Bifurcation and Hopf Bifurcation.
Grading Policy: oral presentations, homework (the detail will be announced at the first class).

Preliminary course: Ordinary Differential Equations (undergraduate level).
