This course introduces the theory and practice of Austronesian language digital documentation and e-learning. By studying one or two Austronesian languages from Taiwan (such as Yami/Tao) or Southeast Asian Archipelago (such as Indonesian or Filipino), students will acquire a thorough understanding of Austronesian linguistic characteristics and learn practical skills in using digital tools for language documentation and creating digital teaching materials.
Based on students' interests and needs, the course provides training in the following digital tools:

1. Animaker for creating 2D animated stories.
2. Delightext (CoSpaces) for designing interactive virtual reality stories.
3. H5P for creating interactive learning content.
4. Lexique Pro for building semantic category-based online dictionaries.
5. Dictionary/Reading App Builder for transforming linguistic data into electronic dictionaries and e-books, with vocabulary and stories integrated into mobile e-book reading applications.
6. Dialogflow ES + Google Sheets / Apps Script + LINE for developing chatbots.
7. Wix for creating e-portfolio websites to document students' learning journeys.

「南島語典藏復振與數位學習」開放給大學部高年級到研究所階段的學生選修。該課程設計在於介紹南島語數位典藏與數位學習之理論與實務，並透過學習一、兩種台灣境內(達悟語)或境外之南島語言(印尼語或菲律賓語)，讓學生充分理解南島語言之特色，並能學會使用數位工具典藏語言並從事數位語言教材之製作與應用。此課程依照學生的興趣和需求選擇學習使用下列工具，製作數位教材:
- 使用Animaker 製作2D動畫故事
- 使用Delightext (CoSpaces) 創作互動式虛擬實境故事
- 使用 H5P 製作互動式學習內容
- 使用Lexique Pro 建立語意範疇線上詞典
- 使用Dictionary / Reading App Builder 將語料轉換為電子詞典及電子書，並將單字與故事內容建置為e-book閱讀手機應用程式
- 使用Dialogflow ES + Google Sheets / Apps Script + LINE ，建構聊天機器人(Chatbot)
- 使用 Wix 製作e-Portfolio網頁，完整記錄學生的學習歷程
