本課程將引領同學認識當代法政哲學領域中深具影響力的女哲學家：艾利斯．楊（Iris Marion Young ）(1949-2006) 。藉由選讀楊的第一手重要代表性著作理解其重要代表性思想:
對於女性身體經驗的現象學與「處境化身體」（situated body）的社會權力結構分析;
以「差異政治」（politics of difference）挑戰以分配為中心的正義理論;
以及晚期提出的「社會連結責任模型」（social connection model of responsibility）。
本課程將從性別(Gender)、正義與差異政治(Politics of Difference)，以及全球政治責任三大單元，選讀楊（Iris M. Young ）的相關重要代表性著作，包括Justice and the Politics of Difference （1990） (簡稱JPD), Throwing Like a Girl and Other Essays （2005） (簡稱FBE)，並搭配相關上傳講義，據以帶領同學理解楊所關切的重要政治哲學議題，掌握其對於性別平等、分配正義與當代多元文化的剖析，也鼓勵同學以全新的視野提出全球正義、集體政治責任與性別建構的解放策略。
