以原住民、明清至日治時期為範圍，美術作品為主。先教授藝術史方法論，再講授各時期的政治、經濟、文化和宗教背景，進而著重闡釋分析各時期重要之民俗工藝、雕刻、書法和繪畫作品。
This course focuses on the art of indigenous peoples, spanning from the Ming and Qing dynasties to the Japanese occupation period, primarily through artworks. It begins by teaching art history methodology, followed by an explanation of the political, economic, cultural, and religious background of each period. The course then emphasizes the analysis and interpretation of important folk crafts, sculptures, calligraphy, and paintings from each period.
