This is a follow-up compulsory language training course for sophomore English majors. It continues to hone students' listening comprehension and develop their speaking and presentation skills. In addition to strengthening students' command of academic English and story-telling through various aural-oral practices, the course aims to sharpen students' abilities in research and logical reasoning, broaden their cross-cultural perspectives, and enable them to engage more critically, inclusively, effectively, and innovatively in discussions of social and global issues in the digital age.
