In this course, you'll enhance your writing skills through text analysis, peer and instructor discussions, and draft revision. We will first review some important concepts of paragraphs before moving on to essay writing. Throughout the semester, we'll focus on three main essay types: The Processing Analysis Essay, The Cause-and-Effect Essay, and The Argumentative Essay.

You're expected to apply the writing concepts and grammatical knowledge you've learned to course assignments. After completing your drafts, you'll receive feedback from peers and your instructor. You'll also earn credits for providing quality feedback to your peers. We'll provide guidelines and orientation for giving constructive feedback.
