This language course is designed to help students improve their English communication skills with an emphasis on speaking and listening. Students will work with authentic materials and learn to think and articulate their ideas in English through regular practice and in-class activities. The first year focuses on developing presentation skills, improving pronunciation and intelligibility, and acquiring the fundamental principles of expressing thoughts in English. Students will learn how to structure presentations, organize responses, and convey ideas with clarity and persuasiveness. Most importantly, these skills are transferable and crucial to any college-level course and professional field. By the end of the course, students will be able to express themselves in English more fluently and become more confident in sharing ideas and building connections with others in real-life situations and for various academic purposes.
