本課程在於提供同學對台灣經濟發展脈絡與現況的基本認識，一方面介紹台灣的經濟結構與特色以及認識政府部門有關經濟事務之決策與處置，另一方面也幫助同學了解台灣本身的經濟發展過程中所衍生出來之問題，並進而探討當前的經濟困境及思考未來的出路與方向。

This course, Understanding Taiwan Economy, Provides students with the basic introduction to the track of Taiwan's economic history and the present situation. On the one hand, the course introduces Taiwan's economic structures and features. On the other hand, it helps understand Taiwan's economic performance and achievement now and then. Then, it discusses choices of the nation's future development.
