This course aims at introducing the fundamental concepts and skills that are commonly used in designing and managing operations/logistics in both manufacturing and service processes.
Topics covered in this course include: forecasting, product design, process and capacity planning, location and layout planning, job design, quality management, inventory management, production planning, supply chain management, etc.
Basic knowledge of probability/statistics and operations research is recommended.
