本課程將著重於講解管理學的內涵與本質，並依據管理四大功能：規劃、組織、領導、控制之順序依序介紹，藉此協助修課同學瞭解什麼是管理。此外，本課程亦將介紹近期發展之領域，包含科技與創新管理等，以此增進同學對於管理學之知識。透過修習此課程，同學將對管理學有更進一步的認識。

This course is designed to explore insights into the area of management and is in three parts. Firstly, the functions of management are introduced. Secondly, approaches and strategies that underpin managers in strengthening competitive advantage of their firms are presented. Thirdly, some important and interesting case studies are analyzed and introduced. Upon completion of this course, students will have a good understanding of management.
