The objective of this course is to introduce students to theoretical models and empirical studies of international trade at the graduate level. Topics covered include the Ricardian and HO models, increasing returns and gravity equations, regional trade agreements, tariff and non-tariff trade policies, political economy of trade policies, and FDI and multinational firms.
