This course offers practical design concepts of high-speed digital systems
and circuits on PCB before students leaving university. It provides high-speed
PCB design skills for multi-layer boards, trace layout, connectors,
vias, chip-based interfaces, and clocking. The design problems such as
crosstalk noise, reflections, and signal loss will be also introduced to
students in the class. The knowledge offered in class will be useful for the
student who will take the hardware design positions for modern IT
products such as computers, embedded systems, and mobile phones in the
future.
