本課程將引領同學認識當代法政哲學領域中深具影響力的女哲學家：艾莉斯．楊（Iris Marion Young ）(1949-2006) 。藉由選讀楊的第一手重要代表性著作，讓同學認識楊是如何在困境的生命歷程中，廣博吸收各派理論（馬克思、現象學、存在主義等等），深入理解文化差異性與社會中各式壓迫的不同面貌，從而發展出肯認正義以批評當代分配正義的理論與實務限制與不足。
