This course aims to enhance students’ English writing skills. Students will be guided to conjure up a good topic sentence, to organize the structure of an essay, and to evaluate one’s work. Writings of outlines, book reviews, essay questions, analyzing, and classifying paragraphs are the focus of this semester. Supplementary readings, introduction to grammar and skills of revision will be provided as the course proceeds.
